Marie Curie
Marie Curie
Marie Curie was a French/Polish physicist and chemist and was a pioneer in the field of radioactivity. Even after being denied access to higher education, she still managed to discover two new elements. They were named Polonium and Radium. She was born in Warsaw, Poland, on November 7th, 1867. She died on July 4th, 1934, in, Sancellemoz, Switzerland. Marie Curie is inspirational because, despite all the challenges she faced, she still managed to become one of the most successful scientists in the world. This person spoke to me because I love science and when I grow up I want to be working in an area that involves Science. What that is yet, I don't know. As you can tell Marie Curie was a brilliant Scientist. That concludes my blog.
